Chris Loar is a two-time Drama Desk Award Nominated actor, writer, director, DJ / beat maker, filmmaker, comedian and Yoga teacher based in Brooklyn. He's an alumnus of The New York Neo-Futurists and from appeared regularly in the long running show "Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind (30 Plays in 60 Minutes.)" He created, directed (and sometimes performed) the hit Off-Off Broadway Shows "The Complete & Condensed Stage Directions of Eugene O'Neill, Volumes 1 and 2" which received national and international tours as well as Critic's Picks from the New York Times. He is also a member of Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab and FILMSHOP, a Brooklyn filmmaker collective. He plays on the Indy Improv team "Dad's New Girlfriend," does stand-up all over town, creates electronic music as Penguinwolf and makes short films and other content for his youtube channel "VTV."

His work explores the union of the absurd and the mystical.
