I was born in Torrance, California. I grew up in various places around Southern California until heading north to San Francisco for college. I graduated with a BA in Theater and headed east to New York to continue studying at Circle in the Square Theater School. After I finished drama school, I danced in a Noemie LaFrance show and interned for the Wooster Group, which provided me with a ton of initial contacts and places to pitch and show my work. I started doing shows at The Ontological Hysteric, FringeNYC, The NY Clown Festival, Chashama, The Brick, New York Theater Workshop, The Ohio Theater, Emerging Artists Theater and others; I worked everywhere I could. In 2009 I simultaneously started performing in Wooster Group Alum Reid Farrington’s shows and was cast in the New York Neo-Futurists, best known for their long running show Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind (30 Plays in 60 Minutes.) It was through this aesthetic and show that I developed "The Complete & Condensed Stage Directions of Eugene O'Neill, Volumes 1 and 2." Both of these shows have enjoyed great critical acclaim, two Drama Desk Award nominations and national / international tours. As well as writing and performing and directing, I am a passionate sound artist.
