I offer comedic English language writing, video, film and live performance for businesses, brands, publications and individuals in need of creative content in Berlin, Germany.

Born in Los Angeles, I lived in NYC for 16 years before relocating to Deutschland in 2020 for film school at MetFilm. My film “_TIMESALAD” was an official selection for The Short Nights of Berlin Film Festival 2022, the Dublin International Comedy Film Festival 2023 and others.

I am a two-time Drama Desk Award Nominee and an alumnus of the critically acclaimed Theater group The New York Neo-Futurists, where I appeared regularly in the long running show "Too Much Light Makes The Baby Go Blind (30 Plays in 60 Minutes.)" I created, directed (and sometimes performed) the hit Off-Off Broadway Shows "The Complete & Condensed Stage Directions of Eugene O'Neill, Volumes 1 and 2" which received national and international tours as well as Critic's Picks from the New York Times. I am also a member of Lincoln Center Theater Directors Lab and FILMSHOP, a Brooklyn filmmaker collective. I do stand-up all over town, write articles about the culture scene here in Berlin and make short films and other content, samples of which can be found on Instagram @chrisloarcomedy.
